The hotel is stunningly beautiful and comfortable with all you need for a really great stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean with mountain view, so that guests have essentials. The price is just right - US$ 68.

The staff was so friendly and made us feel at home. We had the best time exploring Les Contamines and hiking to Notre Dame de la Gorge. The views were unreal and perfect for our Instagram pics! We loved the chill-out space at the hotel, it was perfect for hanging out with friends. we had a blast and would totally recommend it to other young adventurers like us!
The only thing we wished for was more late-night fun for young party-goers like us. It would have been awesome to have some cool activities or a happening bar scene at the hotel.

Stayed here for one night during the Tour du Mont Blanc hike with my friend in early June. As we arrived fairly late at night, the room was ready and check-in was quick. The owners, a friendly couple, really made us feel welcome. Instead of the twin-beds room that I booked, they gave us a family suite with two separate bedrooms, which was much appreciated after a long day of hiking. The three-course dinner was delicious, and the owner's husband is an excellent cook. It's a casual and comfortable environment, with clean rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of the village center, in a nice and quiet location with a lovely view from the balcony across to Les Contamines. Breakfast starts at 7am, which is great if you want to get an early start on your activities.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The room at La Gelinotte was really cozy and spacious. It had a great view of the mountains, and the free Wi-Fi was a big plus. The private bathroom was also nice, with free toiletries and a bath or shower. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and felt right at home.
But, I could have done without the desk in the room. It felt a bit unnecessary for me as a guest.

Guests can enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast, complete with fresh croissants and local cheese. The location, just a short walk from the town center, allows for a quiet and tranquil stay.
The service during our stay was poor and difficult to reach out for assistance.

The rooms at La Gelinotte were really cozy and comfortable. I loved the mountain views and the spaciousness. It felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I would have preferred if the rooms had more storage space for clothes. But hey, it's just my preference.

Delicious and complete breakfast with fresh homemade croissants and tasty local cheese. A peaceful location, not in the center but within a 10-minute walk to the town. - the option to have a nice dinner at the hotel. - Warm and authentic personnel. - Rooms with a mountain view for the best experience.
The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. The shower door was broken, which was inconvenient.
